A Journey Born from the Himalayas
Founded in 2023 by passionate local mountaineers and experienced trekking guides, Trekking Nepal Pvt. Ltd. was created from a simple belief:
Travel should not only bring visitors to Nepal, but also bring positive change to local people and communities.
What started as a small group of friends sharing a deep love for the Himalayas has grown into a trusted local trekking company, proudly welcoming travelers from all around the world.
But we have never forgotten one thing , we are still a local Nepali team, rooted in the mountains we call home.
The Story of the Founder, ManKumar Puri
My name is Man Kumar Puri, founder of Trekking Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and a professional trekking guide from the Himalayas of Nepal.
My journey began in hardship but was shaped by the mountains.
I started as a porter with my father, who was also a porter. From a very young age, I carried loads through steep trails, learning the strength, struggle, and spirit of Himalayan life.
At just 16 years old, I walked to Everest Base Camp for the first time ,not as a tourist, but as a worker of the mountains.
Later, I worked across the major trekking regions of Nepal , Annapurna, Langtang, and Manaslu, gaining deep knowledge of trails, people, weather, and survival in high altitude.
In 2011, after learning French, I became a licensed trekking guide. Since then, I have had the privilege of guiding travelers from all over the world, especially French-speaking guests, sharing not only mountains but also culture, stories, and real Nepali life.
Today, with more than 17 years of experience, I carry one mission in my heart:
To make every traveler feel safe, welcomed, and deeply connected to Nepal.
