Manaslu Circuit Trek is a remote and breathtaking journey around Mount Manaslu, the world’s 8th highest peak. It offers stunning Himalayan views, diverse landscapes, rich Tibetan culture, and a challenging high-altitude pass (Larke La) without the crowds of other popular treks.

  2. Stunning views of Manaslu (8163m), the eighth-tallest mountain in the world. Also, the scenic view of Shringi Himal (7161m), Himchuli (7893m), Peak 29 (7871m), Ganesh Himal (7118m), and other eye-catching peaks.
  3. Furthermore, walk inside the Manaslu Conservation area accompanied by lush vegetation, unique animals and birds, and waterfalls, bridges, rural cultures.
  4. A less crowded trekking route results in a peaceful and lovely trekking experience for trekkers who want to be away from the chaos of urban places.
  5. Experience and explore the rural lifestyle. Also, a blend of Tibetan Nupri and Nepali Gurung inhabitants, their domestic vegetation, and the local culture and tradition existing in the Manaslu region.

DAY 1-2: Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel.

  • Briefing about the trek and gear check.

DAY 2-4: Drive to Machha Khola (900m) – 8 to 9 hrs

  • Scenic drive via Arughat and Soti Khola.

  • Overnight at Machha Khola by the Budhi Gandaki River.

DAY 3: Trek to Jagat (1,340m) – 6 to 7 hrs

  • Trek through forested paths and suspension bridges.

  • Reach Jagat, a traditional village with stone-paved lanes.

DAY 4: Trek to Deng (1,860m) – 6 to 7 hrs

  • Trail passes through villages and terraced farmland.

  • Enjoy views of waterfalls and mountains.

DAY 5: Trek to Namrung

  • Start to enter Nubri Valley with Buddhist cultural influence.

  • Gain altitude and stay in a scenic village.

DAY 6: Trek to Samagaon

  • Pass through Sho and Lho villages with great views of Manaslu.

  • Visit monasteries and interact with local Tibetan-influenced culture.

DAY 7: Acclimatization Day in Samagaon

  • Optional hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa.

  • Rest and prepare for higher altitude crossing.

DAY 8: Trek to Samdo

  • Short, easy walk with gradual elevation gain.

  • Explore this beautiful village near the Tibetan border.

DAY 9: Trek to Dharmasala

  • A gentle but steady climb through alpine zones.

  • Prepare for the pass crossing the next day.

DAY 10: Cross Larkya La Pass (5,160m) and Trek to Bimthang (3,720m) – 8 to 9 hr

  • Long and challenging day across the high pass.

  • Enjoy panoramic views and a rewarding descent to Bimthang.

DAY 11: Trek to Tilije (2,300m) & Drive to Besisahar – 5 hrs trek + 3 hrs drive

  • Final walk through lush forests and rice terraces.

  • Drive to Besisahar for connection back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
