The Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake trek is very famous in Nepal and around the world. During this trek, you will have the opportunity to visit and discover many wonderful things: beautiful villages, local people, magnificent mountain ranges, wildlife, sacred places, and much more.

Above 3,000 meters, we encounter the Himalayan people whose religion, culture, and traditions are deeply fascinating. Some of their customs and ways of life are unique in the world. Visiting the remote mountain villages allows us to meet local inhabitants whose inner richness and warmth will surely leave you feeling joyful and inspired.

During this trek, you will also have the chance to admire many majestic mountains, including the entire Annapurna range and the Dhaulagiri range, which reaches an altitude of 8,167 meters. You can also observe a variety of mountain wildlife, both domestic and wild animals, as well as numerous bird species.

Along the way, we will have the opportunity to visit a part of the Mustang region, which is truly magnificent. It is home to a very famous temple located at an altitude of 3,800 meters.

Day 1: Kathmandu – Dharapani (1,960 m)

Ø  Early departure from Kathmandu by private or local vehicle. The route follows the Trishuli Valley and then the Marsyangdi River. The drive is long (about 8–9 hours) but scenic. Arrival in Dharapani, the trek’s starting point.

Day 2: Dharapani – Chame (2,670 m)

Ø  Trek through pine forests along the Marsyangdi River, passing Bagarchhap and Danaque villages. Spectacular views of Lamjung Himal.

Day 3: Chame – Upper Pisang (3,300 m)

Ø  Gradual ascent into the Himalayan plateau. The trail passes through dense forests and opens up to wide valleys. Cross a dramatic gorge near Paungda Danda.

Day 4: Upper Pisang – Ngawal – Manang (3,540 m)

Ø  Scenic route via the traditional village of Ngawal. Incredible views of Annapurna II and IV. This high trail is great for acclimatization.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Manang (3,540 m)

Ø  Rest day to adjust to altitude. Optional hikes to Gangapurna viewpoint or Buddhist cave. Important day for acclimatization.

Day 6: Manang – Tilicho Base Camp (4,140 m)

Ø  Trek through Khangsar village towards the base camp of Tilicho Lake. Wild, rugged terrain with amazing Himalayan views.

Day 7: Tilicho Base Camp – Tilicho Lake (4,919 m) – Shree Kharka (4,080 m)

Ø  Early morning ascent to Tilicho Lake, one of the world’s highest lakes. After visiting the lake, descend to Shree Kharka.

Day 8: Shree Kharka – Leder (4,200 m)

Ø  Short and pleasant day through alpine meadows. Gradual climb toward higher terrain.

Day 9: Leder – High Camp (4,800 m)

Ø  Gradual climb toward Thorong High Camp. The landscape becomes increasingly barren and alpine.

Day 10: High Camp – Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) – Muktinath (3,760 m)

Ø  Early start to cross Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek. Spectacular views from the summit. Long descent to the sacred village of Muktinath.

Day 11: Muktinath – Lubra – Jomsom (2,720 m)

Ø  Descend via the quiet Lubra Valley, a rarely visited Tibetan village. Arrive in Jomsom, gateway to Mustang.

Day 12: Jomsom – Pokhara (820 m)

Ø  Return to Pokhara by road or domestic flight (depending on package). End of trek.
