  Mard Himal trek

It is a beautiful trekking without difficulty, offering a magical view of the mountains and beautiful encounters with the ethnic groups, mainly the Gurungs, as well as other ethnic groups. It is possible to complete this trek in a short time according to your wishes. The beauty of nature is very rich, with its terraced crops, old traditional houses and people who carry on ancient traditions, respecting the Hindu and Buddhist religions. The route takes place in varied landscapes, between rice fields, magnificent rhododendron forests, occasional encounters with wild animals and many birds. The silence and tranquility of the day while walking brings inner peace.

There are beautiful views of the Annapurna range from the beginning of the trek, and some places offer spectacular panoramas of many mountains. This trek gives us the opportunity to see three mountains over 8000 meters (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna 1st and Manaslu), as well as many mountains under eight thousand meters. The sunrise from Mardihimal Base Camp (4500m) over Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri is truly beautiful, and then we continue to Annapurna Base Camp.

In this trek, we visit beautiful villages and learn about the different ethnicities, their culture, tradition and religion. The encounters with the Gurung ethnic group are unforgettable and offer you the opportunity to understand current life in Nepal. Sometimes the route runs through forests where you can also observe wild animals. There are also opportunities to enjoy hot water baths.
